We take every report seriously. The faster you tell us, the faster we can take down a fake or fraudulent ad. All reports are confidential.
1Common scam patterns
- Advance-payment requests — anyone asking for UPI/bank transfer before meeting is a scammer. Never pay anything before you meet.
- Stolen or AI-generated photos — if photos look like Instagram models or change drastically across angles, it's likely fake.
- Bait-and-switch — gallery shows one woman, a different person turns up. Refuse the meeting and report immediately.
- Pressure tactics — "pay now or someone else will book", "lose this offer in 5 minutes" — never act on rushed messages.
- Fake video calls — pre-recorded loops or filtered calls used to "verify" identity. Insist on a live, unfiltered video before you agree to meet, and still pay nothing before you meet.
2What to include in your report
- Profile URL on our site (copy from your address bar).
- Date and approximate time of the interaction.
- What happened — short description, 2–4 sentences is enough.
- Phone number / WhatsApp ID the scammer used (if shared with you).
- Screenshots of the chat or the suspicious photo (optional but very helpful).
3How to send a report
- Use our contact form and put "Report a scam" in the Subject box.
- Or email report@nightsindia.com with subject line "Scam report — <profile name>".
- For ads on our site, you can also click the small flag icon on the profile page (where available) to report directly.
4What we do with your report
- We review reports as soon as we can.
- If the ad is fake or breaks our rules, we take it down, and we may close the account behind it.
- We may reply to the address you write from. Your identity is never shared with the reported account.
5If money was taken
- We are not a payment platform — we cannot recover funds sent off-platform. But we can still help.
- Report the UPI ID / bank account immediately to your bank's fraud line and to cybercrime.gov.in.
- Send us the same details so we can check the ad against our rules.
6Stay safe — a short checklist
- Always meet in a hotel or your own residence. Never go to a stranger's address.
- Never send money in advance.
- Insist on a live (not pre-recorded) photo or video before agreeing to anything.
- If pricing keeps "moving up" mid-conversation, walk away.
- Keep messages on WhatsApp — easier to share with us if anything goes wrong.
